Fees and Fines and
Hours

Johnston City Public library does not have a fee
for residents of Johnston City. There is a fee for
non-residents of $30.00 per household per year.
All applications for library cards must have a a
copy of their water bill, electric bill or a photo id
showing their current address. Applicants must
also provide one local reference. Persons under
the age of 18 will be required to have a parent or
guardian sign their application.

Resident cards are valid for 2 years and
non-resident cards are valid for 1 year.

The following is a list of fees charges by the
library for various services and fines:

Overdue books, video and audio tapes: 10 cents a
day
Copy fees: 25 cents a page standard
Fax pages: $3.00, after 3 pages .50 each
Pages printed from the computer: First 2 free, .25
cents each after first 2
Floppy Disk: $1.00 each

Patrons who lose or damage any books, video or
audio tapes will be charges a replacement fee.
