JOHNSTON CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Johnston City public library serves the citizens of Johnston City as
well as those in the surrounding county and neighboring towns. The
library has over 15,000 books as well as popular magazines such as
News Week and Readers Digest. See our Services section for a full
listing of all our periodicals and newspapers. We also have a computer
section with 4 computers , all with internet access so you can look up
that hard to find information, catch up on e-mail or news from around
the world. We also are part of the Shawnee Library System which
allows us to order books from other libraries in the event we do not have
it here. We also have a number of special activities throughout the year
including Lunch at the Library and a Summer reading program.
